Monica Pasquini, coloratura soprano, has performed in numerous operatic roles, including:  Belinda in Dido & Aeneas, Tytania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore, Ruth Baldwin in the southeastern premiere of John Musto’s Later the Same Evening, The Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Madame Herz in Der Schauspieldirektor, and Arsena in Der Zigeunerbaron.  Partial roles include Zdenka in Arabella, Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor, and Norina in Don Pasquale.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College where she studied with Edmund LeRoy and Pamela Coburn and a Master of Music degree from Florida State University where she studied with Shirley Close.   Monica currently studies with Sherry Overholt in New York City and was an Apprentice Artist in Center City Opera Theater’s 2009-2010 season in Philadelphia.
