Erin Ghislin grew up dancing in the Chicago suburbs where she trained with Watmora Casey at the Faughbourg School of Ballet. There she performed classical ballets including Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and Don Quixote as well as numerous original contemporary dance works. Erin then came to New York City to attend New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and graduated in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance. While at NYU, Erin worked with and performed works by Karole Armitage, Merce Cunningham, Deborah Jowitt, James Martin, Cassandra Phifer, and Sean Curran including several student choreographers as well as creating her own work.

Erin has also had the pleasure of dancing in Salzburg where she worked with Douglas Becker and Ellen Van Schuylenburch as well as in Montreal where she trained with Les Grand Ballet Canadienne and worked with Hélène Blackburn and her company Cas Public. Erin has held a scholarship at the Merce Cunningham Studio and danced with Bryan Hayes Dance. She currently dances with Beth Soll & Company, and ess/DanceWorks. Erin is making her debut with Choreo Theatro Company this coming season.
