Born in NYC, Elise began her ballet training at Scarsdale Ballet Studio and continued at Steps on Broadway and Ballet Academy East. She performed in NYC with Dances Patrelle until she was invited to study on scholarship at Rock School of PA Ballet. In 1998, Elise was the youngest of 20 American dancers selected to perform in the Opening Ceremonies of the Nagano Winter Olympics.

She later earned a BA in Film & Media at American University of Paris. After returning to NYC, Elise danced as a founding member of isadoraNow, a company dedicated to the choreography of Isadora Duncan. More recently, she has performed in La Mama Moves Dance Festival 2010 and in work by Laura Peterson Choreography in LMCC’s Sitelines series. Elise has performed in France, taught ballet in Spain, is a certified Mind Body Dancer™ 200 yoga teacher and earned an MFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
