|Areti was born and raised in Athens. She earned a degree as a dance teacher from Kodaxaki dance foundation. She continued her studies at the Viennese opera house, where she danced as well. Afterwards she became a member of the Landestheater Dance company in Linz-Austria. She has collaborated with several well known choreographers such as Mattilde Monnier,Elio Gervasi,Sebastian Prantl,.Sussane Link and more. In 2005-2006 she danced in the musical “Saturday night fever” choreographed by Arlin Philips.
When she came to US she acted in “Live till you die” a short film by Gullian W. Horward. She choreographed the children’s play “Climb The Rooftops” directed by Andreas Tselepos and the musical “The Psychiatrist” a Mastic Theatre Production. Furthermore she danced in Target Margin Theater for Magdalena Ziras’ dance-theater project choreographed by Irina Constantine Poulos about ancient Greek tragedy’s figure “Antigone”. She became a member of Choreo Theatro in 2008 and danced in “DigmaI & II” at the Whitewave festival. She is currently dancing in “La fille mal guardee” for the Greek National Opera choreographed by Frederick Ashton.
